Social Media was on Thursday awash with news and photos of businessman Frank Gashumba being introduced by his new fiancée Patience Mutoni Malaika to her parents in a traditional Gusaba ceremony in Sembababule district on Thursday.
As netizens were still debating about the actual age of the new woman in Frank Gashumba’s life and soon to be Sheilah’s step mother, many were left astounded when she declined to address her as mum and preferred calling her by her name “Malaika”.
This was after NBS Tv’s Simon Kaggwa Njala asked her why she couldn’t refer to the new catch as “mum”, to which she replied.
“😂😂😂 y’all play too much😂😂 Unfortunately I can’t, i will only call the woman who gave birth to me ‘mum’ so everyone must calm down. Wama congratulations beautiful Malaika!! I need two siblings 😉☺️”.
Clearly Sheilah doesn’t feel like Malaika who looks to be in her mid-twenties has anything to offer her as a mother figure but none the less she remained happy with the new union as she had congratulated the pair upon their new arrangement and immediately wished for siblings.
“Congratulations my father Mr @FrankGashumbaon your engagement and Gusaba. You looked soo happy yesterday. Wishing you the absolute best, happiness and love in your new journey with Malaika” Sheilah posted on her X.
