Police in Kiboga District have in custody a 39, a businessman operating in Nkokonjeru cell, Lwamata town council over allegedly defiling two female juveniles aged 12 and 8 years.
The Wamala Region Police Spokesperson, Lamech Kigozi, revealed that the suspect Simon Kiwanuka, was arrested after the girls opened up to their mother, that Kiwanuka had persistently sexually abused them between the months of May and June this year.
Kigozi noted that the matter was reported to Lwamata Police Station, and the victims have since undergone medical examination.
“Kiwanuka has been arrested and is being held at Kiboga Central Police Station as investigations continue” he said.
Kiwanuka is expected to be charged with aggravated defilement once the Resident State Attorney sanctions the case.
