Sad news has hit the National Unity Platform (NUP) camp this evening following the death of missing NUP supporter John Bosco Kibalama’s wife, Mrs. Nabukeera Monica Kibalama on Monday evening.
The news of her death has been announced by the party Secretary General Lewis Rubongoya on his X account on Monday.
“Very saddened by the sudden passing of Mrs. Nabukeera Monica Kibalama the wife of John Bosco Kibalama who was abducted on 3rd June, 2019. Since then, Monica has moved everywhere looking for justice for her husband. It is most unfortunate that she has passed on before finding it” Rubongoya posted.
Rubongoya further noted that the exact cause of death is yet to be established since the deceased was discovered dead by her family members in the bathroom.
“The exact cause of death is yet to be known, but the family has indicated that she was found dead in her bathroom. Very sad day. What a pity for those little children” he said.
John Bosco Kibalama was abducted in 2019, his disappearance was reported to Nakanyonyi Police station in Wakiso district and documented under SD/02/04/06/2019, a day after his abduction.

His car was discovered abandoned along the road, containing seemingly untouched belongings, including a mobile phone, laptop, and an iPad.
In 2023, Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja faced public wrath after she publicly revealed of having knowledge of the whereabouts of Kibalama whom she described as a “hardcore criminal” that was arrested in 2022 for allegedly killing police officers.
However she would later on go back on her word and the search for Kibalama continued by his family and members of the National Unity Platform to date to no avail.
