Prominent businessman, philanthropist and a founding member of the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC), Dr. James Musinguzi Garuga has passed on.
According to sources close to the family, Garuga has died at Nakasero Hospital where he was receiving treatment for an undisclosed ailment.

The news of his passing has sent shockwaves through Uganda’s business, philanthropic and political circles, sectors in which he has played a key role in developing.
He was one of the major financiers that played a vital role in the FDC party’s acquiring the Najjanankumbi office.
