President Yoweri Museveni has pledged a mouthwatering UGX 1.2 Billion Uganda shilling for the cranes team with each win they manage in the Total Energies Africa Nations Championship 2024 starting today against the Algeria.
The announcement has been made by FUFA President Hon. Magogo Moses Hassim while addressing the cranes team just a few hours before Uganda kicks off it’s first match against Algeria in Group C of the Total Energies CHAN 2024 tournament at 8pm at Mandela National Stadium.
“H.E. President of the Republic of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni sets the bar high! The President has announced a massive winning bonus of 1.2 billion shillings per match for the team at CHAN 2024!
This was announced by FUFA President Hon. Magogo Moses Hassim to the team.

Yesterday, co-hosts Tanzania and Tanzania started on a high with wins over Burkina Faso and DR Congo, respectively, with the announcement of the mega bonus for the team, Uganda is expected to pick a boost as they go onto the match later today.
