The Entebbe Senior Grade One Magistrate Tibayeita Edgar Tusiime has extended the arrest warrant of embattled land broker Muhamad Kamoga in order to face charges of forgery, uttering false documents and obtaining registration by false pretense before court immediately.

“You are hereby directed to arrest the said Kamoga Muhamad and to produce him before me as soon as possible. Herein fail not. Given under my hand and the seal of the Court this 06 October 2025” His worship Tusiime ordered.
His Worship Tusiime further issued summons for Katabi Town Council Mayor Ronald Kalema and to present kamoga before court on the 14th of this month whom he stood surety for alongside the LC chairperson Walugembe Tony, failure of which they will be remanded to Kigo Prison.
Magistrate Tusiime’s arrest warrant comes a week after Entebbe Grade One Magistrate, Ms Lilian Mazimwe issued the arrest warrant directing Police to arrest Kamoga and produce him in court on October 6, 2025, without fail.
However on Monday, Kamoga was a no show before the courts of law, which prompted the Magistrate Tusiime to extend the warrant and also issue summons for his two sureties to explain to court his whereabouts.

Kamoga had skipped court three times over alleged ill health, prolonging the beginning of the hearing on multiple charges of forgery of a lawyer Lorna Nkamwesigwa’s signature, stamp, practicing certificate and signatures of Peter Bibangamba on transfer forms for over 200 acres of prime land at Bukaya- Garuga, Entebbe in Wakiso District.
The court order followed the failure of Kamoga to appear in court on criminal summons issued by the same court on September 24, 2025 in answer to multiple criminal charges of fraud relating to forgery of a lawyer’s practising certificate, signature, stamp and registered owners signature on transfer forms.
Kamoga missed court two times with his lawyers presenting medical documents to show that he is critically ill, whereas not.
But the state led by Mr Paul Aheebwa Byamukama presented to court a certified medical report dated September 25, 2025 issued by Nakasero Hospital pursuant to a court order which proved that the accused Kamoga is an out patient at Nakasero Hospital and that he is not in any danger.
The medical report dispelled the one presented by lawyer Mr Brian Tindyebwa, indicating that the doctor recommended a four weeks rest due to ill-health.
The court observed that Kamoga is an outpatient who returned to the hospital for review on September 25, 2025, the same day the hospital issued a report.
Kamoga of the defunct M/s Kamoga property consultants is expected to plead to several criminal charges regarding the forgery of lawyer Lorna Nkamwesiga’s signature and stamp.
It is alleged that in 2021 at Wakiso District Lands Office, Kamoga with intent to deceive, forged a practicing certificate for Advocates dated 25 February 2020 purporting it to have been issued to Advocate Nkamwesiga Lorna whereas not.
The state contends that Kamoga had purported that the said practising certificate was also signed and stamped by Advocate Nkamwesiga Lorna whereas not.
Prosecution alleges that on May 7, 2021at Wakiso Lands office, Kamoga with intent to deceive, forged a transfer form dated May 7 2021in respect to land in Busiro on Block 425 purporting to have been signed by Advocate Nkamwesiga Lorna as a witness whereas not.
It is alleged that Kamoga forged transfer forms for over 200 acres of land, purporting them to have been signed and stamped by Advocate Nkamwesiga Lorna as a witness whereas not.
Kamoga is facing multiple charges of forgery, obtaining registration by false pretences, uttering false documents, unlawful eviction, and malicious damage to property regarding fraudulent acquisition of a 200-acre land at Garuga-Bukaaya in Entebbe, Wakiso District.
The court summons came hardly two weeks after the accused land broker failed to turn up in court after his lawyer’s reported ill-health.
On July 15, 2025, the Supreme Court dismissed an application in which the land broker had sought to stop the prosecution, citing a pending appeal.
He is accused of forgery of signatures of businessman Peter Bibangamba on transfer forms for land at Bukaya, Entebbe, fraudulently acquiring registration, uttering false documents, unlawful eviction and malicious damage to property.
Kamoga’s legal troubles stem from allegations that he used forged transfer forms to unlawfully transfer land ownership from Peter Bibangamba into his names for over 200 acres of land.
Kamoga’s attempt to further delay the trial as he has always done where twarted by the State, when it moved ahead of him by certification of his medical records. When Kamogo’s lawyers presented a suspicious medical report from Nakasero Hospital to court indicating that he required four weeks of rest, the state countered it by producing a certified copy, which proved that Kamoga was fit to stand trial.
The complainants expressed optimism that Kamoga shall be arrested any time and thereafter tried as directed by the Supreme Court.
