British R&B legend Craig David will headline the “World of Sounds Season 2” concert at Sheraton Hotel Gardens on August 29.
The Brit legend renowned for hits like Walking away, 7 days among others and a career spanning over two decades, is set to light up the stage in an unforgettable night of soulful melodies.
David, who will be performing for the first time in the country has sold over 15 million records sold worldwide, multiple BRIT and Grammy Award nominations, and a legacy of shaping the UK garage and R&B scenes.
The World of Sounds concert series debuted on October 6, 2023, at the Kampala Serena Hotel with a powerful lineup led by celebrated afro-jazz guitarist Myko Ouma, alongside artists like Jose Sax, Sewa Sewa, Kenneth Mugabi, Joel Sebunjo, A Pass, Maurice Kirya, and a show-stopping surprise duet featuring Juliana Kanyomozi.
Building on that success, Season 2 takes the experience further with an international headliner and a curated mix of Uganda’s finest live performers and instrumentalists.
