The two brothers arrested in connection with the death of Martha Murari at Mezo Noir have been released on police bond as investigations continue.
Authorities confirmed the release of Joseph Kaliisa, known as DJ Spinny, and his brother, Edward Mugabo.
They remain persons of interest and are required to report to the police regularly as investigations proceed.
The circumstances surrounding Murari’s death remain unclear, and authorities have yet to release any conclusive findings.
However, police maintain that the inquiry is ongoing, urging the public to be patient and allow due process to take its course.
The arrest of the brothers weeks ago sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry, particularly among patrons of Mezo Noir, a popular nightlife spot that announced an abrupt temporary closure following the incident.
Martha was laid to rest in Nyarubanga, Mbarara.
Loved ones continue to mourn her tragic passing, as questions linger about what transpired on the fateful night.
With the suspects now out on bond, the case remains under close scrutiny.
