Joint security operatives have opened fire as they carried out an arrest of singer King Saha, real name Mansoor Ssemanda, in Kyanja a Kampala Surburb this afternoon.
Earlier on in the day, the singer had held a press confenrence for his highly anticipated Tondeka E Kololo Festival at NBS Tv.
Thereafter, he took the campaign to the downtown streets, touring Kampala as he rallied fans ahead of his highly anticipated concert at Kololo Airstrip on 14th August, a common promotion stunt by artistes prior to shows nowdays.

According to post by an administrator of his X page, the singer is currently held at Jinja Police Station
However the reason for his arrest remains unknown, since the police was yet to issue an official statement by the time of this publication.
