A bus conductor has been left dead after a Gulu Secondary School bus, carrying students to Jinja for a school tour got involved in an accident at Kigumba at around 5.45am on Thursday.
According to the Directorate of Traffic & Road Safety PRO SP kananura Michael, the crash occurred when the bus driver attempted to overtake another vehicle & collided head-on with a Fuso truck traveling in the opposite direction.

“The bus conductor died on the spot, while 17 students sustained injuries. Of these, two were critically injured, while 15 sustained minor injuries” he said.
kananura revealed that the injured students are currently admitted at Kiryandongo Hospital for treatment.
