The highly anticipated Kampala Rumble boxing match delivered nothing but excitement as Singer Rickman knocked out Socialite Zari’s hubby Shakib Lutaaya at a fully packed MTN Lugogo Arena on Saturday night.
The fight received a lot of hype from both celebrities and boxing enthusiasts in it’s buildup as both sides fans sought for a second win in the highly popularised celebrity boxing games series.
Both fighters had a single win from the series with Rickman having previously defeated fellow singer Grenade Official and Shakib having defeated media personality J Kazoora in the first ever celebrity boxing match.
From the onset of the match, Rickman’s boxing skills and movements handed him the upper hand even though Shakib also managed to hand a few blows, the singer’s endurance and skill spurred him on.
In the second round, Rickman wasted no time as he cornered Shakib and delivered a combination of punches that landed in the right spots sending Shakib to kiss the canvas in deep slumber.
The fight was called to an end by the referee and medics as well as Shakib’s team rushed in the ring to make sure that he was fine.
Zari could do little but worry as her man rolled on the ground, however she was seen hugging her husband after the boxing bout and seemingly promising to nurse him back to full health after the knockout.
