A somber mood hovered over Pajangango village, Tororo district on Sunday as family, friends and fans thronged the area to send off celebrated media personality Owor Michael Benjamin aka Dj Bush Baby at his ancestral home.
The 50-year-old DJ Bush Baby was found dead in his studio in Bugonga, Entebbe on Thursday by his brother in law after several unanswered calls from his wife raised an alarm.
Following his death, his body was transferred to City mortuary Mulago for postmortem before being transferred to a funeral home and a memorial mass was held at St Luke Catholic Church Nsasa before the body was taken to Tororo on Saturday.
On Saturday night, friends, family and fans alike thronged The Gardens Najjera to enjoy timeless mixes from the fallen Dj dubbed The 4th Floor Edition, themed, “A toast to a Passion and Legacy Lived”.
The late Bush Baby, was buried on Sunday in Pajangango village, Tororo district.
