Sad news has engulfed the media fraternity this morning, following the death of Sanyuka TV producer Badru Kasirye in a head on collision along the Kampala- Entebbe highway in the wee hours of Friday.
According to videos shared by first time responders, the accident occured at Namulanda.
Badru reportedly died at the scene of the accident, while his colleague entertainment presenter Brian Ssemanda alias Makona, was rushed to Kisubi Hospital where he was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in critical condition.
It’s believed the duo were from attending the celebrity boxing match between TikToker Chicken Chicken and comedian Shawa at Supremacy Lounge, Nakulabye.
The cause of the accident remains unknown.
By the time of this publication, neither the Next Media Services nor police had issued a statement about the incident.
