The late Sanyunka Tv Producer Badru Kasirye, who lost his life in a nasty accident alongside his colleague Isaac Ndamagye at Namulanda along the Kampala – Entebbe Highway is set to be laid to rest today at 4pm at Bunamwaya.
According to the program released by Next Media Services, there will be prayers at 2pm for the deceased at Kansanga Mosque before proceeding for burial at 4pm at Bunamwaya Ngobe, Mayumba Kumi.
The deceased were traveling alongside entertainment presenter Brian “Makona” Ssemanda at the time of the accident, near Stabex Namulanda.
The traffic police PRO SP Kananura Michael, earlier on revealed that the crash occurred at around 2am, involved motor vehicles UA 779DE, Toyota Allex, and UAS 976W, Toyota Hilux.

“Preliminary investigations indicate that the driver of the Toyota Hilux, registration number UAS 976W, which was travelling from Entebbe towards Kampala, allegedly lost control and drifted into the opposite lane while approaching the Stabex area at Namulanda. The vehicle subsequently collided head-on with the oncoming Toyota Allex, registration number UA 779DE” he said.
Kananura noted that the circumstances and cause of the crash remain under investigation.
“Further details will be communicated as soon as the inquiries are concluded. Police extend heartfelt condolences to the families, friends and colleagues of the deceased and wish the injured victim a quick and full recovery” he said.
