The Police at Kabalagala Division are investigating a robbery incident that occurred on May 6th at approximately 11:30 a.m. at the Nsambya Traffic Lights along Ggaba Road in Kampala.

According to the Kampala Metropolitan Police Deputy PRO, ASP Luke Owoyesigyire, the incident, whose video footage resurfaced on 9 June 2026 and is currently circulating on various social media platforms, involved a group of assailants who attacked two victims before robbing them of cash that had reportedly been withdrawn from a forex bureau.

“Upon receiving the initial report, police immediately commenced investigations. The crime scene was visited and documented, statements were recorded from relevant witnesses, CCTV footage was reviewed, and vital evidential material was recovered to support the ongoing inquiries” he said.
