A sombre mood hangs over the music industry after Dancehall artist Peter Miles real names Peter Kanyike, announced the death of his mother Mrs Elizabeth Kanyike, this evening.
Miles revealed that she passed on at Nakasero Hospital, however he didnt divulge details into the exacr cause of death.
“With deep sorrow this is to announce the untimely death of my mother Mrs Elizabeth Kanyike which has happened today 23 May 2026 at Nakasero hospital GA Rest in peace mummy” he posted on his instagram page on Saturday.
According to the official burial program shared by Miles, there will be a Funeral service at St. Mark’s Church Namate, Entebbe on Tuesday at 10:00am.
Thereafter, an over night Vigil will be held at the deceased’s home at Baita Ababiri-Kabale.
The late Elizabeth will be lad to rest on Wednesday in Entebbe Muduuma – Walukunyu.
“36Kms from Kampala Take a left turn at Muduuma Past Muduuma Catholic church Past Muduuma Head Quarters Through Ggavu Trading Center Arrive Walukunyu village” the directions read.
