The Buganda road court has remanded the former Police CID spokesperson Charles Twiine over hate speech, inciting violence, and malicious information against NUP’s Mitala Noah alias Noah Mutwe, Speaker Anita Among, President Yoweri Museveni, First Son and CDF Gen Muhozi Kainerugaba, Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa and Gen Birungi James.
Court heard that between January 2024 and May 2025 at various places within kampala City, Twiine through electronic social media messages, incited Mitala Noah alias Mutwe to attack and cause the death of President Museveni using pavers, by reason of his office or political opinion.
However in a surprise twist during the mention of the case, Mitala Noah alias Noah Mutwe one of Bobi Wine’s body guard’s who was recently abducted by armed security personnel was charged alongside Twiine and both men were remanded to Luzira Prison until June 5th for mention of the cases against Twiine.
