Speaker of Parliament Anita Annet Among has today met His Holiness Pope Leo XIV in a meeting of diplomatic and spiritual significance at the Vatican.
The meeting followed a solemn Mass led by the Holy Father at St. Peter’s Basilica, where prayers were offered for global peace, unity, and love among nations.
“I was honoured to meet His Holiness Pope Leo XIV at the Vatican after he celebrated Mass, during which prayers were offered for peace, unity, and love among nations.
Later today, I will also meet the Vatican’s Secretary of State.

Speaker Among is scheduled to meet with Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Vatican’s Secretary of State, to discuss matters of mutual interest.
