The Entebbe National Resistance Movement (NRM) ) electoral commission registrar Mr Paul Wasike has declared incumbent Mayor Fabrice Brad Rulinda as the winner of the NRM mayoral ticket holder for the party in the 2026 polls.
Rulinda’s victory came after he beat off competition from Mike Mutebi and Habibu Kashillingi in a race largely shaped by his campaign focus on business development of the municipality.

Mayor Rulinda secured 4,758 votes, beating Micheal Mutebi Kabwama with 1,755 votes and Habib Kashiringi with 66 votes.
However the Election Day was marred by low turn up of voters in the municipality with some political speculators attributing the low turn up to the heavy military deployments at the different polling stations.
