The Anti-corruption court in Kampala has charged and remanded the former LC III Chairperson of Nakisunga Sub-County in Mukono District, Sekikubo Mubarak, over with corruption and criminal conspiracy.
According to prosecution, between January and June 2025, in Mukono Town, Mubarak criminally conspired with Mugerwa Ronald Saaku, a Probation and Welfare Officer for Lugazi Municipality, and Dr Wataba Saadi, who are both still at large, to defraud Dr Mukisa George William, a job applicant, of UGX 38 million.
The trio allegedly falsely represented to Dr Mukisa that they could secure him a government position as a Medical Officer in Mukono District.
Prosecution told court that investigations further revealed that Mubarak and his alleged accomplices claimed that the money would be used to facilitate members of the Mukono District Service Commission to improperly influence the Commission’s decision-making and secure Dr Mukisa the Medical Officer position in exchange for an undue advantage.
He has been remanded until November 4th, 2026, when the case will come up again for mention before the court.

In ecology, there are types of vegetative creapers that provide ground cover to maintain good ground moisture. The good degree of soil moisture retention favors taller shrubs and trees to grow-up tall. Their height high up protects the creapers below from direct hash sun rays. Over time an established forest-like ecosystem develops.
This has been the evolution process that has bred Corruption in our motherland Uganda. To fight the grassroot level corruption we need to cut down the tall Structures that provide shade and ensure the lower vegetation stays
perenually hydrated. Your view of where to start may differ from mine but as long as it will destroy the Corruption- Ecosystem. May be a natural Storm can deal with both simultaneously.
