Following the ruling, the groups’ lawyers while addressing media outside the court led by Samuel Muyizzi Mulindwa, revealed that Gaddafi Mugumya and Grace Smart Wakabi will be freed if the bail fees are met in cash.
However Achileo Kivumbi and Eddie Mutwe will remain at Luzira prison over unlawful drilling’ charges which they face at Kanyanya magistrates court.
“ They cannot be released now, there will be a release order as far as this matter is concerned, but they remain in prison pending the hearing of their bail application, application for review of the bail that was denied in Kawempe, Kanyanya” Mulindwa said.
Mulindwa further noted that the bail application in the military drilling case is before the high court.
