TikTok creator Timothy Kayanja, popularly known as Jayden, has died at the age of 24 at a hospital in India, where he had travelled for a bone marrow transplant.
The news of Jayden’s passing was confirmed by Tik toker Sheilah Price, on Tuesday morning sending shockwaves across the country.
The late content creator was flown to India, following a fundraising drive by Ugandans to see him receive the bone marrow in order to treat aplastic anemia, a condition affecting the body’s ability to produce enough blood cells, which he had been battling for a long time.
He underwent a bone marrow transplant in July 2026, initially showing signs of recovery, however, his condition deteriorated in August and he was admitted into the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as doctors made efforts to save his life.
Jayden rose to fame in late 2024 after a viral Christmas skit that turned “Jayden” into a nickname for spoilt city kids, before joining TV for a brief journalism career.
