The Police in Kampala is on the hunt for former Obsessions group manager Ronnie Mulindwa, over allegedly operating an online prostitution and adult streaming operation in Kampala.
According to the Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Rachel Kawala, the search follows a security raid on an apartment in Kyanja, a Kampala suburb, in which 27 girls who were participating in the scheme were rescued.
The operation which was conducted by the Directorate of Crime Intelligence, also led to the arrest of Vivian Gobera, whom police identified as Mulindwa’s girlfriend.

Gobera told police that the women, whose primary target are clients in Western countries are assigned new identities upon reaching the apartment, to prevent people who can recognise them online from identifying them.
Beyond online streaming, some of the women are reportedly hired to entertain wealthy clients at private parties in Kampala, Wakiso, and Mukono areas while others were allegedly sent to high-end hotels to entertain guests.
Kawala noted that investigations are ongoing and efforts to arrest Mulindwa and his alleged accomplices have intensified.
“We have also arrested a security guard who was guarding the location,” she said.
