The National Unity Platform (NUP) artist and a civilian bodyguard of party President Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine, King Zale, real name is Christopher Godi, has been kidnapped by armed security operatives in Kamwokya, a Kampala suburb.
According to the NUP Secretary General David Lewis Rubongoya, armed men surrounded his vehicle, put him at gunpoint before ordering him to step out of the car.
“We’ve just been informed of the violent abduction of our brother, King Zale, from Kamwokya. Onlookers say, armed men moving in a drone surrounded his vehicle, put him on gunpoint, and ordered him to move out of his car before driving off with him to an unknown destination. The lawlessness continues” he posted on his X handle.
Recently Natabi Fauzia, the wife to Don Sherrif, the personal assistant of Bobi Wine was abducted from her home by armed security operatives before she was paraded at the Kawempe Chief Magistrates Court after 35 days in illegal detention and charged with using a SIM card in another person’s name.
