Three people have lost their lives in an early morning Monday accident at the Mpala flyover along the Entebbe Expressway.
The deceased are said to have been traveling in white Toyota Prado from Kampala towards the Entebbe direction before the car lost control and hit a pillar on the Mpala Expressway Overpass.

In a statement released by the Expressway management, the vehicle was traveling from Masaka towards the Airport when the driver reportedly dozed off due to fatigue after a long-distance journey.
“Tragically, three occupants lost their lives, while one sustained injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital. Our Incident Response team, worked closely with police to secure the scene and manage traffic” the statement reads.
The authorities have urged motorists to rest fully before long distance travels, avoid driving while fatigue, and observe speed limits.
