As security operations intensify in a number of areas of the country over different reasons, uniformed and plain clothed security operatives have on Thursday allegedly abducted, the wife to Najja Sharif, the personal assistant to National Unity Platform (NUP) leader Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu aka Bobi Wine.
In a video shared by the NUP leader, Bobi wine notes that the operatives raided Najja’s home in search for him but after failing to locate him, allegedly took his wife to an unknown destination.
“Regime security operatives have raided the home of my assistant, Comrade Najja Sherif. When they found he was not around, they abducted his wife instead after she told them she did not know his whereabouts. What a cowardly regime!”Bobi Wine posted on X.
In the video, Najja’s wife is seen being led into a waiting grey drone accosted by armed men both in civilian clothes and UPDF uniforms.
In recent weeks, social media has been awash with reports that Najja run into exile to survive arrest.
