Rukungiri, Uganda – In a heartfelt message, the Senior Presidential Advisor on Agriculture Peace Rugambwa, has extended warm and sincere greetings to the Muslim community in Ntungamo and beyond as they prepare to observe the holy month of Ramadan
SPA Rugambwa who is also the chair of the Boona Bagaigahare Organisation urged for peace, prosperity, and spiritual growth for all Muslims during this sacred period, saying, “May Allah’s mercy and blessings be upon you. May this holy month bring peace, prosperity, and joy to your lives.”
The statement highlighted the values of compassion, kindness, and forgiveness that Ramadan embodies, wishing that these principles guide Muslims throughout the year.
Additionally, SPA Peace Rugambwa extended greetings to Christians observing Lent, wishing them a meaningful and spiritually enriching period. “May God reward all who participate in the Lent season,” the statement added.
SPA Peace Rugambwa’s message was to both faith’s followers emphasises unity, peace, and interfaith harmony, reflecting the organization’s commitment to promoting understanding and coexistence among different religious communities in western Uganda and Uganda at large.
The organization prayed for Allah to keep Muslims in good health, surrounded by loved ones, and showered with blessings during Ramadan.
