The National Unity Platform (NUP) Deputy Spokesperson, Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro has been abducted by armed gunmen at the Kawempe Magistrates Court.
The news of Mufumbiro’s abduction inside the court premises was announced by the party secretary general on his X handle.
“Our Deputy Spokesperson, Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro abducted by armed operatives😡😡😡” he posted.

According to reports, the armed operatives who abducted Mufumbiro were travelling in a Toyota Noah registration number UAK 368K
Mufumbiro had gone to attend the hearings of detained NUP civilian body guards Eddie Mutwe, Achileo Kivumbi and Tasi Calvin aka Bobi Giant.
