The Kabaka of Buganda His Majesty Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II has warned his subjects against being used by politicians bent on weakening the Kingdom through politics.
“Leaders in Buganda at all levels we thank you, you have been very firm in all conditions that have come our way, our friends both within and outside the country, you have supported the works of the kingdom. We thank you for working with us” noted.
He added, “The political scene is one of the paths that enemies of Buganda usually use, beware of them, we ask of you as always to continue working hard for yourselves than crying and waiting for those who will take you derail you off the course, May God protect you”.
Kabaka Mutebei made the remarks while addressing subjects in a televised broadcast during his 32nd coronation celebrations held today at Kibuli Mosque in Kampala.
Kabaka Mutebi who made the address in a live broadcast further urged his subjects to remain brave and continue fighting for the pertinent issues concerning the kingdom.
“We thank you every day for being brave and sticking to those issues that pertain our Kingdom, avoid all those who have made it a habit to hind behind laws which are not real in order to weaken Buganda Kingdom, we have seen this several times” he said.
