The Deputy spokesperson for the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) Col Chris Magezi has revealed that the force has arrested a notorious conman who has allegedly scammed a number of foreign investors while pretending to be a UPDF ‘General Isa’.

“Fraud alert: the public is hereby informed that the notorious conman here below who calls himself ‘General Isa’ has been arrested by the security services. He has scammed many foreign investors of billions of shillings by pretending to be a UPDF General. He will be prosecuted in the courts of law accordingly” Col Magezi posted on his X handle on Wednesday.
