Sad News has gripped the medical fraternity in the country after the discovery of the body of Dr John Spire Kiggundu, a brother to prominent Cartoonist and Government critic Dr Jim Spire Ssentongo on Sunday afternoon in Kitende along Entebbe road.
According to reports, Dr Kiggundu went missing on Saturday after leaving Henrob Hospital -Zzana which he owned.
“Family members reported him missing after he did not return home Saturday night. Family and police reviewed CCTV footage, which showed Kiggundu’s vehicle traveling toward Kitende. His body was discovered in the area Sunday afternoon”.
Dr Jim Spire Ssentongo who is also a lecturer at Makerere University confirmed the news through a post on his X, “I announce the sudden passing of my brother, Dr John Spire Kiggundu of Henrob Hospital-Zzana, heir to our father”.
However it’s not yet clear what cause the deceased’s death…..
