The first son and Uganda’s Chief of Defence Forces, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba and his wife Charlotte Kainerugaba, are among the hundreds of people who have attended the funeral service of the late Cedric Babu Ndilima in Kamengo, Mpigi District this Saturday.
The late Cedric who was a celebrated media Personality and sports administrator passed away at Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi where he was rushed after he collapsed in Kigali Rwanda.
Cedric succumbed to hemochromatosis, a rare and aggressive heart condition as family and friends had started a fundraiser campaign to raise UGX 1.5 bn in order to evacuate him to London UK, for a lifesaving heart transplant.
Among other notable figures at the burial included former Vice President Dr. Speciosa Wandira Kazibwe, Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa, former IGP Gen. Kale Kayihura, former VP Edward Ssekandi, Al-Haji Moses Kigongo, Mike Mukula & several other ministers.
