The Director Action for liberty and Economic Development (ALED), John Mugabi is set to facilitate at the recently launched Ubuntu Civic Lab.
According to a statement seen by this publication, Mugabi is set to facilitate Session One, taking place on Thursday, 20 August 2026, 6-8 pm East African time on the themed, “Election Violence in East Africa: Triggers and Legal Provisions over the Past Ten Years”.
When contacted, Mugabi expressed gratitude at sharing the stage with the Bosch Alumni Network which connects about 8,500 former and current fellows, employees, and grantees of the Robert Bosch Stiftung across 140 countries.
Ubuntu Civic Lab is a practitioner-led initiative that brings together Bosch Alumni and practitioners from across Africa working in governance, media, peacebuilding, youth engagement, civic technology, and community development.
Through peer learning and dialogue, Ubuntu Civic Lab explores real civic challenges and co-create practical tools that strengthen social cohesion and civic participation across the region.
