JKL Dolphins further thanked everyone who stood with Jonathan throughout his treatment through prayers, encouragement, and financial support.
The club has further appealed for support in raising the remaining UGX 16,000,000 needed to clear the outstanding hospital bill.
“Every contribution, no matter the amount, will be greatly appreciated” the club wrote.

Despite showing signs of resilience during his recovery, he succumbed to his injuries after spending several days in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Oketch’s death comes a t a time when the sports fraternity is under a dark cloud, having recently lost former rugby player Adnan Kawuma who passed away over the weekend, and Rugby Cranes and Stanbic Black Pirates forward Sydney Gongodyo was recently laid to rest in Sironko District following a mob justice attack.
