More than a week after his abduction by Special Force’s Command (SFC) soldiers in Mukono and consequent holding in the first son and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s basement for days as revealed by Muhoozi through his X account, Edward Ssebufu alias Eddie Mutwe has been dropped at Masaka court.
Eddie Mutwe who is the National Unity Platform (NUP) President Robert Kyagulanyi’s chief bodyguard, was removed from a saloon car by armed security personnel in plain clothes and taken into the courtroom.
The security operatives have barred journalists from getting closer to Eddie Mutwe or cover the court proceedings of the visibly tired and tortured NUP.

A plain-clothed man who only identified himself as a security operative approached journalists at the court gate and told them to leave after taking over the security at the court premises from uniformed police officers.
“We have orders that you should not cover this case. We are sorry, our friends,” he said.
Eddie Mutwe who could barely walk, was supported by two plain-clothed security operatives as he limped to the court cells ahead of his appearance in the dock.
