Jinja road based Victoria University has signed a long term Memorandum of Understanding with Buganda Kingdom’s Media Group BBS Terefayina eyaffe.
The MOU was signed by Vice Chancellor Dr Lawrence Muganga and the Managing Director Eng Sembajjo Patrick, in the presence of Complaince and Relations Manager Ms Racheal Ayebare and Co-operative Education Office Manager Dr Shamim K Matovu.
The corporate and public relations manager, Julius Bukyana said the partnership will see students have internships at the Tv station, and hands on experiential learning.
The partnership will also see BBS Terefayina staff enrolled at the University to enhance their studies.
The partnership comes as the university prepares to hold it’s tenth graduation ceremony, scheduled to take place for two days from October 19th to 20th at the Speke Resort Convention Center in Munyonyo.
