The Police in Mukono district is investigating the disappearance of Tuwandike Nathan, 25, a student at Uganda Christian University (UCU) who went missing on Wednesday sending the University community into panic mode.
The Kampala Metropolitan Deputy Police Spokesperson, Luke Owoyesigyire has revealed that Nathan, a resident of Nsibambi A11, Mukono District was last seen on February 25, 2026, in Mukono Town.
“He was last seen on 25/02/2026 in Mukono Town. He left behind his phone and personal belongings at his hostel” he said.
Owoyesigyire has further appealed to anyone with information about his whereabouts to report to the nearest police station or contact Mukono Police Station immediately on 0783748109.
Owoyesigyire further noted that inquiries into Nathan’s disappearance are ongoing.
Nathans disappearance comes weeks after the Director of Student Affairs, and member of the Uganda Christian University Senior Management Ms. Pamela Tumwebaze, was gruesomely murdered form her home.
