The Buganda Road Magistrates Court has charged Kalungu East Member of Parliament elect Yusuf Kiruuta Nkeretanyi with theft of curtains, cushions, and curtain holders worth UGX 3.7BN from Kampala businessman Lwabuka.

According to prosecution, Nkeretanyi and six others between 2018 and January 2022 at Eagle Plaza, Central Division, Kampala stole curtains, cushions, and curtain holders worth Shs 3.7 billion from Hajj Sulaiman Lwabuuka Kasule.
Chief Magistrate Ritah Kidasa Neumbe has granted Nkeretanyi and his co accused bail after the items were presented as evidence.
